Game Design

Don't just play games, make them! Learn about the free and low-cost game engines available to create games. You'll learn a lot about game making, from how to tell a story to how to tweak characters. Enjoy seeing and playing the games others make in class, too.

You'll learn how to make menus, control movement, and set up scoring. Along the way you'll make some cool graphics and animations for your game. Then, you'll find out how to publish your game to the world.

Seth is a freelance web professional who designs and develops websites and web applications on a contract basis.

• We'll be using no-cost/low-cost software so your child can continue making games at home
• At Pixel Time, we'll be using software for Mac (so we can publish games to iPhones); we'll provide info about similar tools for Windows for home use
